Lenten Sermon Series
Rooted in Faith, Growing in Love
The season of Lent is a Holy invitation to overhear Jesus’ conversations with Satan, Nicodemus, the Samaritan Woman, the Blind Man and Martha and Mary. In Jesus’ encounters, we are invited to ask questions, explore our faith, and experience the love of God in Christ. Grounded in Lenten practices, scripture and gathered in community on Sundays we seek to deepen our knowledge of God’s transformative love for us so that we become be a part of God’s transformation of the world.
Using clips from movies and television series, we will explore the people who encounter Jesus and are transformed by God’s love. Sunday mornings @ 10:15 beginning 3/5.
