We Worship Together – Indoors, Outdoors, and Online.

Flowing from ancient traditions, our worship services may vary in style, but they converge in common, familiar elements — joyful music, inspired preaching, prayer and Holy Communion.

Guests and longtime members alike are encouraged to explore our diverse offerings when deciding which service to attend.

In addition to our indoor church and chapel services, the Jordan outdoor service draws a “come as you are” crowd to the cobblestone circle when weather permits, and three services livestreamed on our YouTube channel each week as an option for those who are homebound, traveling or worshiping with us from other locations.

Music sets the tone for worship, and at Christ Church we are blessed with a strong musical program. The Chancel Choir offers traditional hymns and contemporary choral anthems, and the Common Ground vocal ensemble delights us with a cappella and instrumental contemporary Christian music in worship services, special events and concerts throughout the church year.

Accompaniment is enhanced by talented students and professional musicians from our community, including Ponte Vedra High School, UNF, the Florida Chamber Music Project, Gainesville Brass Quintet and more.

The outstanding Jordan Band’s repertoire includes contemporary Christian music and classic hymns, and the tradition of great Hispanic worship music is carried out in our Spanish language service with their music leaders’ lively tempos and engaging spirit.
