The Rev. Amy Slater

Senior Associate Rector

The Rev. Amy Slater, Senior Associate Rector was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with a BA. Before she received her Master of Divinity degree from Virginia Theological Seminary, Amy taught history, was the Christian Formation Director at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, and chaired the Episcopal Children Services Board. After Seminary she served as the First Chaplain to UNF, as Associate Rector for Families and Children at Christ Church, Senior Associate at St. Mary’s Arlington Virginia, and Rector of St. Mary’s Green Cove Springs. She and her husband Tom have two children; Sarah, who lives with her husband in Boston MA, and Austin in San Francisco, CA.
