Advent in Four Words
November 29, December 6, 13, and 20

This four-week clergy-led study will explore how we wait in Hope, live in Peace, celebrate with Joy, and love with the heart of Christ during Advent and beyond.

Centering Prayer Group

Are you interested in learning and practicing this contemplative way of prayer and listening? You’ll find a caring circle of friends and the silence you long for.

Meets on Wednesdays from 11:00-12:00 pm in the Center for Spirituality.

Meets on select Sundays from 10:15-11:00am. Sometimes, special topics presented at the same time will replace the Clergy Forum.

Gabe Bove Bible Study
This multi-generational gathering is a place for Holy Conversation, inspiration and joyful discovery while studying the whole Bible. This group will begin on September 13.
Grace and Gardens: Lessons from the Church Pilgrimage

Join Ftr. Tom and Mtr. Amy as they share stories from their recent pilgrimage that celebrated the great legacy of Anglican theology and Christian practice.

Holy Communion Class
August 23

10:15-11:00am | Room 204

In the Episcopal tradition, all baptized persons are invited to receive communion, including children. Parents, in conversation with their child, determine the best time for their child to receive. The Holy Communion class is designed for parents and children to learn about the sacraments of the Holy Eucharist. During the class, everyone will receive instruction on how to receive the communion bread and wine as they learn about the traditions of our Episcopal worship.

Introduction to Hispanic Theology: From the Golden Age to the U.S. Latino Experience
September 13 and 20

What makes Hispanic theology unique? More than a field of study, it is a way of understanding God's work through the history, culture, struggles, and hopes of Hispanic peoples. In these two sessions, we will trace its journey from the Spanish Golden Age to the Latino experience in the United States, discovering how faith, migration, and cultural identity have shaped a distinctive vision of the Gospel and continue to enrich the life of the Church.

Men's Bible Study
Clergy led in Westbury Hall Dining Room on Friday mornings at 7:00 a.m., come discuss the weekly Scriptures and enjoy a great breakfast. Meets year-round.
This weekly meet up for moms gathers for inspiring discussions, guest speakers, service opportunities and supportive connections. Nursery is available with a reservation. Friday mornings in the Center for Spirituality Building. Discussion is from 9:00 - 10:00 am and optional fellowship from 10:00 - 10:45 am. Begins August 21st!
TRUE: Transforming Racial Understanding & Engagement (100)
The Episcopal Church encourages congregations across the country to pursue a deeper understanding of race in America, and with that understanding to engage in the ministry of racial healing. Using films, books and grace-filled conversation, TRUE (formerly known as “Facing Racism”) gathers for this holy work. All are welcome.

Excavating the Bible: How Archaeology & Historical Texts Can Help Us Interpret the Bible
Sundays 10:15-11:00 am | October 4 - November 8 | Room 224

We will explore what ancient historical records and archaeological finds can tell us about ancient Israel, the people who lived there, and their understanding of God. By combining our understanding of archaeology, history, and the similarities & differences in the various versions of the Biblical stories, we will be better equipped to understand and interpret our ancient and sacred scripture.

Joyful Women Book Study
Second and Fourth Tuesdays, Starting September 16 | 7:00 pm | Zoom Studying the Scriptures, one book at a time.The group also gathers in person for lunch or dinner about three times during the year.

Community of Hope International (COHI)
Wednesdays 6:00-7:30pm | September 16 - November 11

This ministry is offered as a 9-week training to become holy listeners for individuals and groups in our community. Space is limited.

Cursillo is an adult spiritual renewal ministry and community of the Episcopal Church, which begins with a three-day retreat of learning, sharing and living together in Christian community. Registration for fall dates required by August 17th. For more information see diocesefl.org/cursillo

Education for Ministry (EfM)
In a weekly small group setting, Education for Ministry leads participants through four years of study, covering major areas of theological education. New cohorts form each September. Registration is required.
The Marriage Course (Spring 2027)
The Marriage Course is for couples who have been in a committed relationship for 2 years or more. It is like a Date Night, with homework. There are seven sessions, and each session begins with sharing dinner as a couple, followed by a fun, insightful talk by Father Tom and DeeAnn Reeder. There are no group discussions, just a chance to talk to your partner about topics like strengthening communication, resolving conflict and love in action. Thursdays at 6:00 pm in Westbury Hall January 21- March 11, 2027. Registration and fee required. Registration is required.
