Rector

The Rev. Thomas P. Reeder, Rector, is a native of Fredericksburg, Virginia. He spent nearly nine years on active duty in the U.S. Navy before discerning a call to ordained ministry. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies (Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of California at Davis and a Master of Divinity degree from the School of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee.

After being ordained in 2003, his first pastoral call was as Associate Rector and later as Priest-in-Charge of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Jacksonville, Florida. In September 2005, he was called to be the Priest-in-Charge of Christ Church in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. A year later he was installed as the 27th rector of that church. Fr. Tom led the Stewardship, Outreach and Mission ministries at Christ Church as Senior Associate Rector, from 2013 to 2018. On March 9, 2018 he was called to become our fourth Rector.

Fr. Tom and his wife DeeAnn have two adult children, Sophia and Liam.
